Northern Ora

Liz Berry - Co-owner and forager for Northern Ora. Liz is a herbalist and has always been interested in the different plants and their uses. She was born in Alberta, Canada. Growing up in the Rockies in Alberta, Liz developed her love for wild plants further while going on nature walks with her family and every plant she saw she wondered what it was good for and how she could help people with said plants. She came up to Watson Lake in 2014 to visit her sister, where she met Jordan.
Liz designed the Northern Ora label, forages, designs the blends for the salves and teas, does the office work, and packaging.

Jordan Berry - Co-owner and forager for Northern Ora. Jordan has a Bachelors with Honours of Agricultural Science and specializes in plant production. Growing up in New Zealand on a dairy farm and loving the outdoors, gave him a very different and in depth perspective on plants and nature. He also brought his knowledge of New Zealand plants and their uses as well as learning the incredible uses of plants in Canada as well. Jordan moved to the Yukon for work experience when he met Liz.
Jordan helps design the blends for the teas, forages, and helps package the teas.

After Liz and Jordan got engaged, they bounced back and forth from the Yukon to New Zealand, working on farms and in apiaries until they got married in 2016. The Chaga hunt began in 2016 once Jordan got his permanent residency in Canada and they decided to stay in the Yukon.

Sarah Berry - The newest addition to the foraging team! Born June 16, 2019. Miss Sarah has already done her share of Chaga hunts for the first 10 months of her life! She loves being outside and enjoys pointing at the trees, touching the needles and sampling the snow!
